Generally, there are 3 levels of content expiry settings in CDN.net solution:
- Origin Server - End users may modify the specify file type expiry settings on Virtual Host at the origin server(where the content is hosted), eg Apache config or htaccess rule. HTTP meta tag is not supported.
- CDN Resource Level - Customers may configure the CDN site's content expiry setting at cdn.net portal upon resource creation
- CDN.net default settings: 60 minutes
The Overwrite Rules: 1 > 2 > 3. For example, if end user sets the content expiry on Origin, it will follow the origin time specified rather the content expiry setting on portal.
